The general elementary music curriculum encourages students across all grades (K-5) to create, perform, respond, and connect with music. Students attend general music classes once or twice a week. Activities include singing, dancing, composing, and playing instruments. Students learn to be musicians and creators within and beyond the classroom setting. As a performing arts department, we strive to create an inclusive and collaborative elementary program that nurtures every student’s creative potential.
