• VOCAL ALLIANCE PERFORMS AT TRANS DAY OF VISIBILITY | The DHS choral ensemble, Vocal Alliance, performed at PRISM's event for the Transgender Day of Visibility.  See the picture below.

• HRMS PARTICIPATING IN MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA FESTIVAL| HRMS will be performing at the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild's Middle School Drama Festival on May 5th at the Rashi School in Dedham. Keep an eye out for a preview performance of the play for the community in early May.  

 

• 8TH GRADE AND DHS CONCERT BANDS TO PERFORM AT MICCA FESTIVAL | DHS will be a host site for the the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductor's Association Band Festival April 5th - 7th.  Our 8th Grade Concert Band and DHS Concert Band will be adjudicated.  The 8th Grade will be performing on Friday, April 5th at 3:30pm, and DHS is on Sunday at 12pm.

• WINTER COLORGUARD | Good luck to the DHS Winter Color Guard as they perform at the last two competitions of the season.  March 30th NESBA show at Salem High School in Salem, MA and NESBA Finals in Salem, MA on April 5th.  See a picture of the Winter Guard below.

• NORTHEAST JUNIOR DISTRICTS| Congratulations to the following students who performed with the Northeast Junior District Music Ensembles - From DHS: Adrian Cavallo (Concert Band), and Gabby Mayorga (Jazz Band). From HRMS: Molly Pietal, Reese Schieding (Concert Band), Lauren Garofalo, Gi Mills, Matthew Moriarty, Andrew Morse, Kaiya Waters (Jazz Band).  See the picture below.

• ALL-STATE MUSIC FESTIVAL | Congrats to our five DHS vocalists who were selected to the MMEA All-State Chorus and performed at Symphony Hall in March on March 23rd: Tim Bowler, Pier Brett, Milo Clarke, Dan Hnatowicz, and Kaelin Hampe! See the picture below.

• DHS JAZZ RECEIVES SILVER AT MAJE | Congratulations to the DHS Jazz Band for receiving a Silver Medal at Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education festival on March 7th.

• FALCONIZE ICHSA SEMIFINAL RESULTS | Congratulations to Falconize for a great ICHSA season and for the 4th place finish at ICHSA semifinals on March 24th in Worcester.

• DHS PERFORMING ARTS WEEKEND | Tickets for the DHS Performing Arts Weekend will go on sale this April 1st at 8pm  The weekend will be April 26th and 27th, with the Spring Play "Promapocolypse" and Musical Revue on Friday Night, and a dinner/gala and Pops Night concert on Saturday night.  Tickets can be purchased on this website's ticket page.
