NEW PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS PROGRAM | September 9th marked the start of our new private music lessons program. We have four extremely qualified and enthusiastic instructors giving lessons out of Danvers High School for students grades 4-12. Our private lesson program is running semesterly, and registration for second semester will open and promoted in late October / early November. INSTRUMENTAL RENTAL NIGHT | On Wednesday, September 11th, DHS hosted instrumental rental night for the next generation of instrumentalists in Danvers. Good luck to all of our elementary band students as they start their musical journey!

AUDITIONS FOR DHS FALL MUSICAL, MEAN GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL VERSION |Auditions for the DHS Fall Musical, Mean GIrls High School Version, will be the week of September 16th. MARCHING BAND IN FULL SWING!| The DHS Marching Band has had a successful start to the season after a performance at the first home football game and performing at the Coast to Cure Bike Race in Gloucester! See the picture below.

DHS A CAPPELLA TO PERFORM AT HOSPICE WALK | The DHS a cappella groups, Falconize and Skywave, will perform the National Anthem at the Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice at St. John's Prep on September 29th. The groups are looking forward to seeing the great Danvers community turnout at this event!

HRMS HAWKS IN HARMONY INFO MEETING & AUDITIONS | Auditions for the HRMS a cappella group, Hawks in Harmony, will be on Tuesday, September 17th in Mr. Carleton's Room. There will be an info meeting on Monday, September 16th for any middle school students interested in finding out more about this singing group and the audition process before auditions. See Mr. Carleton for questions.

NEW PERFORMING ARTS MURAL AT DHS| Malana Moy '24 (Falconize, Vocal Alliance, DHS ACTS) spent her senior internship last Spring working with North Shore based mural artist "Annadidathing" to paint a mural outside of the DHS auditorium. Malana and Anna conceptualized the design which represents the collaboration and diversity in our Danvers Performing Art Department. There is a two-minute time lapse video of the mural project if you'd like to see how it came together!
