• DHS MUSIC REPRESENTS AT ALL-STATE: Our music program was well represented at this year’s Massachusetts Music Educators All-State Conference and Festival in Worcester, MA. Our ensemble, Vocal Alliance, was invited to perform at the General Assembly for the state’s music teachers and also supported Mr. Grover in presenting his session, “Harmony Beyond Notes: Social Emotional Learning in Chorus.” Vocal Alliance is comprised of the following DHS students: Piper Brett, Bella Drakos, Ella Guitard, Kaelin Hampe, Dalin Martinez Rodriguez, and Brooke Wilichoski. Additionally, Kaelin Hampe and JJ Murphy performed with the All-State Mixed Chorus, while Brooke Wilichoski performed with the new Contemporary Ensemble. Congratulations to all of the students involved, and be sure to check out the photo of Vocal Alliance!

• CONCERT BAND AT MICCA THIS WEEK: DHS is hosting the MICCA Band Festival from March 27th - 29th and our Concert Band will be adjudicated on Friday night, March 27th at 8:30pm (tickets only available at the door).  Good luck to the Concert Band!

• WINTER GUARD AT NESBA SALEM THIS WEEK: Good luck to our Winter Color Guard as they compete at the NESBA show on Saturday, March 28th in Salem, MA.

• JR. DISTRICTS SUCCESS: Congratulations to the following band and chorus students who performed with the MMEA Northeast Junior District Music Ensembles! Chorus: Naomi Butterworth, Layla Dupont, Carter Fayyad, Olivia Lottman, and Bryce Robinson, Band: Sean Hoctor, Nathan Silva, and Rowman Bartlett, Jazz Band: Matthew Moriarty, Andrew Morse, Brian Pelari, and Syd Runnals.
