Danvers High School & Holten Richmond Middle School

  • NEW HRMS CHORUS TEACHER | HRMS has a new Chorus and General Music Teacher! We are thrilled to introduce Zachary Leach. Mr. Leach recently moved to Massachusetts from North Carolina where he earned a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and Vocal Pedagogy from East Carolina University.  He considers himself a multifaceted musician, as he is an active singer, composer/arranger, and pianist.  His work reflects a commitment to both artistic excellence and pedagogical innovation, integrating performance and creative practice within the choral arts. We are looking forward to Mr. Leach joining the Danvers Performing Arts team.

  • DANVERS PERFORMING ARTS COLLABORATIVE GENERAL MEETING | The first general membership meeting for Danvers Performing Arts Collaborative, Inc. will be held on Monday, October 6th at 7pm in the DHS Auditorium.  All parents/guardians of band, chorus, and theater students are invited to attend to learn more about fundraising, events, and have a voice in the happenings of the organization.   • PERFORMING ARTS MERCHANDISE STORE OPEN: Our merchandise store is open! If you are interested in purchasing anything, please visit our website: www.danversperformingarts.org/store. The deadline for  placing orders is October 30th, and items will arrive by mid December!

  • HADESTOWN SET BUILD DAY #2: The second set build day for the DHS Fall Musical is on Tuesday, October 7th from 6pm - 9pm. at DHS  All crew, cast, and family members are welcome to attend to continue bringing the show’s set to life!

  • RED, WHITE, AND BLUES CONCERT: DHS Band member, Chase Richmond, is working on a DECA project with partners Haley Liporto and Ari Fajardo to raise funds for a monument and mural in Danvers honoring local Veterans. The project will be a fundraiser concert featuring the DHS Jazz Band and headlined by the YellowHouse Blues Band. The event is on Thursday, November 6th at 7:30pm in the DHS Auditorium (reception at 6pm).  Tickets can be purchased at www.danversperformingarts.org/red-white-blues.​​

  • HRMS HAWKS IN HARMONY UPDATE: This year, Mr. Grover from DHS will be directing our middle school a cappella group, Hawks in Harmony.  More information will be promoted the week of October 6th regarding the registrations, auditions, and rehearsals / performances. Please keep an eye out for these communications.
